routine childhood vaccinations.
Please do not bring sick children to this clinic, as this
only increases the risk of spread of infection to other healthy
children. Sick children will be seen by the Doctor any day during any
of the routine surgeries.

includes check on weight, blood pressure, breast examination, urine
test, pelvic organ examination and cervical smear. Cervical smears
also performed at other surgery times by appointment with Practice
Nurse or any of the Doctors. Please bring a fresh sample of urine
to this appointment.

The Practice Nurse sees diabetic patients who are referred to
them and offer them appropriate education and advice, to help
maximise their control and reduce the risks of any complication from
diabetes. Those who do not attend the hospital diabetic clinic
routinely - also have an annual check up.

For the care of patients taking Warfarin the Practice Nurse
holds a monitoring clinic.

The treatment of several diseases, particularly in the field of
rheumatology, is increasingly reliant on drugs that, while
clinically effective, need regular blood monitoring. These blood
tests will be carried out by the Practice Nurse upon referral from
your Doctor.

Carried out by appointment with any of the Doctors or
Practice Nurse. Advice is given on general matters, such as weight
reduction and smoking cessation. Advice offered on coronary risk
prevention. Please bring a fresh sample of urine to this
appointment.
All new patients
registering with the Surgery are offered a
